Getting Started with a Referral
Initiate a Handshake: Tap the Handshake button in the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen.
Confirm Your Intent: Click Get Started to begin your referral.
Specify the Referral Type
Choose from Buy, Sell, or Buy and Sell to confirm the type of client referral you’re making.
Best Match vs. Best Three
Best Match: Uses Handshake’s proprietary algorithm to connect you with the most qualified agent in the area.
Best Three: Matches you with up to three agents, giving you options to screen and select the best fit.
Location
Indicate the city where you need referral assistance.
Additional Information
Provide key details like your preferred referral fee, the client’s timeline, and any notes about their preferences or needs.
Submit Your Request
Select Find Me a Best Match or Best Three to initiate the matching process.
